The best way to get to Mataró by plane is to fly into Barcelona El Prat Airport and then take the train from Barcelona Sants train station to Mataró.


Driving from Barcelona to Mataró is the most convenient way to get there, taking approximately 35 minutes depending on traffic.


There are several trains that run from Barcelona Sants train station to Mataró, making it the easiest way to get there by train.


While there is a port in Mataró, there are currently no regular passenger boats that run from other locations to get there. Therefore, taking a plane or train and then using an alternative mode of transport is recommended.


Taking the bus from Barcelona Nord Station to Mataró is the cheapest option and there are several buses that run daily.
