Unfortunately, there is no train station in Fresno. The closest Amtrak station is in Hanford, about 30 miles away, and they offer a bus connection to Fresno.

There are no boat options to get to Fresno as it is located far inland and not connected to any major waterways.

Bus

Taking a bus to Fresno is a popular option, especially from cities within California. Greyhound has multiple daily routes to Fresno from cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Sacramento. You can also take a local bus operated by the Fresno Area Express (FAX) from neighboring cities like Clovis and Madera.
