How to get to Jaipur

Plane

The best way to get to Jaipur by plane is to fly into Jaipur International Airport (JAI) from major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore or Chennai. There are several airlines that operate flights to Jaipur, including Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet and Vistara.

Car

Driving to Jaipur can be a great option if you are up for an adventurous road trip. You can rent a car or hire a taxi from Delhi or Agra and take either the NH8 or NH11 route to reach Jaipur. The journey takes approximately five hours on a good day but traffic can cause delays.

Train

If you prefer train travel, you can take a train to Jaipur Junction railway station which is well-connected to major cities in India. Some popular train options are Shatabdi Express, Rajdhani Express, and Jaipur Superfast Express. You can also opt for the luxury Palace on Wheels train which offers a comfortable and royal experience.

Boat

Unfortunately, there are no direct boat routes available to Jaipur as it is a landlocked city. Your best option is to fly or take a train to Jaipur.

Bus

To get to Jaipur by bus, you can take a state-run or private bus from major cities like Delhi, Agra, or Udaipur. The main bus station in Jaipur is the Sindhi Camp Bus Station. Some popular bus operators are RSRTC, Neeta Travels, and Mahalaxmi Travels.
