The best way to get to Mobile by plane is to fly into Mobile Regional Airport, which is located about 13 miles from downtown Mobile. Several major airlines, including Delta, American, and United, offer direct flights from cities such as Atlanta, Houston, and Charlotte.


Mobile is easily accessible by car, as several major highways pass through the area, including I-10, I-65, and US 98. If you're driving from out of state, plan your route using a GPS or online mapping service to find the quickest and most direct route.


Unfortunately, there are no direct train routes to Mobile. The nearest Amtrak station is located in New Orleans, about 150 miles away.


Mobile is home to a busy port that handles a variety of cargo and passenger traffic. However, there are no regular passenger ferry services to Mobile. If you're traveling by boat, the best option is to dock at one of the marinas or yacht clubs located along Mobile Bay.


Greyhound offers bus service to Mobile from several cities in the Southeast, including Atlanta and New Orleans. The bus station is located downtown at 2545 Government Street.
