The best way to get to Witten, Germany by plane is to fly into Düsseldorf International Airport and then take a train to Witten Hauptbahnhof.


Driving to Witten is a good option if you have a car. You can take the A1 or A2 autobahn and then exit at the Witten-Zentrum or Witten-Heven junction.


If you are traveling within Germany, the best way to get to Witten is by train. You can take a train directly to Witten Hauptbahnhof from cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, and Frankfurt.


Unfortunately, there are no boats that travel directly to Witten. The closest ports are located in Duisburg and Dortmund, both of which are over 20km away from the city.


Taking a bus to Witten is possible, but not the most convenient option. The nearest bus station is the Witten Busbahnhof, where you can take local buses to Witten Hauptbahnhof.
