Day

Into the Wine Wonderland of Avignon:

  • Start your day with a visit to the Palais des Papes, where you'll feel like the king of the world. Or maybe just the king of the stag do.
  • Wander through the labyrinthine streets of the old town, where every corner holds a secret. Just like that time Dave tried to salsa dance with a statue.
  • Stop by Les Halles, the vibrant market, to sample local delicacies. Let the groom try the strange-looking cheese while you smuggle a handful of freshly baked baguettes.
  • Indulge in an afternoon of wine tasting at one of the charming vineyards nearby. Cheers to the groom and try not to let him drink too much before dinner!
  • As the sun sets, head to Le Petit Gourmand for a hearty French feast. Dig into their signature escargot dish, while sharing embarrassing stories about the groom. Just make sure the volume doesn't reach the table next to you – they have their own gossip to attend to!
  • End the night at La Teuf, Avignon's liveliest nightclub. Dance the night away, surrounded by friendly locals and other stag parties. Who knows, maybe the groom will meet his future wife here – or at least someone who can keep up with his terrible dance moves.
