The best way to get to Almada by plane is to fly to Lisbon Portela Airport and then take a taxi or public transportation to Almada.
Car
The best way to get to Almada by car is to take the A2 highway towards the South and then exit at the Almada/Pragal exit. Then follow the signs to Almada.
Train
There is no train station in Almada, but one can take a train from Lisbon to Pragal and then switch to a bus that will take you to Almada.
Boat
There is no direct boat service to Almada, but one can take a ferry from Lisbon to Cacilhas and then take a bus or taxi to Almada. The ferry terminal is located at Terreiro do Paço in Lisbon.
Bus
There are several bus companies that operate from Lisbon to Almada. The quickest and most direct route is to take the TST Bus 153 from Praça do Areeiro in Lisbon to Almada. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
