How to get there

Plane

The best way to get to San Bernardino by plane is to fly into Ontario International Airport, which is about 20 miles away from the city. From there, you can either rent a car or take a taxi to San Bernardino.

Car

Driving to San Bernardino is one of the best ways as it provides flexibility and allows you to explore the city at your own pace. If traveling from Los Angeles, take the 10 Freeway east until you reach the city.

Train

Unfortunately, there is no direct train station in San Bernardino. However, you can take the Amtrak train to San Bernardino Transit Center in downtown San Bernardino, which is conveniently located near several local bus stops to get around the city.

Boat

As San Bernardino is located inland, there are no direct boat services to the city. However, you can take a boat ride to Lake Arrowhead, which is about 15 miles north of San Bernardino, and then drive or take a taxi to your final destination.

Bus

Greyhound bus is one of the most popular options to get to San Bernardino as they have a direct bus service to the San Bernardino bus station located downtown. From there, you can easily catch a local bus or taxi to your final destination.
