The best way to get to Algeciras, Spain by plane is to fly into Gibraltar International Airport and then take a taxi or bus for the 30-minute journey to Algeciras.


Driving to Algeciras from Malaga Airport is the fastest and most convenient way to reach the city. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes along the A7 highway.


While there is no direct train to Algeciras, visitors can take a Renfe train from Madrid to Algeciras via San Fernando and transfer to a local train from San Fernando. The journey takes around 7 hours.


There are regular ferry services from Tangier, Morocco to Algeciras Port, which takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Visitors can also take a ferry from Ceuta, a Spanish enclave in North Africa, to Algeciras, which takes around 1 hour.
